A visit to Sea Side Florida

Remember the 1998 movie,  The Truman Show, with Jim Carey?  Many parts of the film were shot here in Sea Side.    The fictitious town of Sea Haven was, for the most part,  shot in Sea Side, Florida.

One weekend after Tropical storm Debbie visited the area a friend and I decided to visit the little town of  Sea Side for something to do.  It drizzled rain throughout the day .  Sea Side is  located in Northwest Florida’s Walton County and was developed in the 1980s by developer Robert Davis as a modern Victorian town with narrow streets, picket fences and pastel-hued dwellings.  Quaint shops  and bicycles are the norm.  A place where pedestrians truly have the right away.  And then of course, there is the beach.  I will go back soon for either some sunset shots or sunrise.  Ok, for the sunrise shots, I am kidding.
