I’ve past by the state park of Camp Helen many times on my travels to and from Panama City Beach. We finally decided to stop there and look for photo opportunities one afternoon. State parks have always make for some great shots and Camp Helen was no different.
Some of the land was once used by employees of an Alabama textile mill called Avondale Mills (from 1945-1987). Some of those original buildings still on site . The owner of the Mills bought the land and established a vacation type place for their employees. Since the challenge this week is “Inside” I’ll focus on only the inside of some of the remaining buildings.
